School Courses
Guyyawin
is a dressmaking and designing school, which is one of the
top private schools credited by the Ministry of Education
it was founded in 1996. In The school’s curriculum we
provide 5 categories of course :
| 1. |
Standard Course –
every dressmaking school in Thailand offers this Course.
It lasts 6 or 8 months. The students get fundamental principles
of dressmaking until they can earn a living. |
| 2. |
French Standard Course –
this is considered to be our best course. It shows how
to design patterns which will cover flaws in a person’s
body and make the wearer look better. We also teach our
students how to make all kinds of sleeves smooth; without
any twists or wrinkles. Other courses do not teach how
to overcome these problems. This class lasts 7 or 9 months. |
| 3. |
Special Course for dressmaker
– this is an advanced dressmaking
course. It lasts 2 or 3 months. It teaches French Standard
curriculum. |
| 4. |
Short Course –
this course, which lasts for 3 months, is designed for
students who don’t have a lot of time to learn.
It teaches the fundamentals of sewing and includes making
day-wear dresses and casual clothes |
| 5. |
Design Courses –
this is divided into two classes :
a long and a short class.
The long class lasts for 5 months and the short class
lasts for 2.5 months. In the long class, students have
to design 51 items, ranging from drawing a skeleton of
the human body to blouses, skirts, pants, dresses, sportswear,
swimming suits, office wear, lingerie and wedding dresses.
Including children and men's
wears too.
In the short class students
design 25 items |
After
successful completion of the Standard Course, French Standard
Course or Long Design Course, students receive a certificate
guaranteed by the Ministry of Education.
